Fave Nightwish Song/Album

Yeah I did... They're nice, but nothing special like Nightwish. I mean I like Tarja, but now I see that she was only a voice, when Nightwish is the music and the spirit.

I agree. Her voice is wonderful, but it's just weird to hear her sing without the rest of the band.

Yeah the background music feels somewhat empty compared to Nightwish. I think that shows how great the band is, because even a great vocalist like Tarja becomes somewhat ordinary after Nightwish.

I agree with you Linwe , and instead of a Metal album I really wished Tarja will release a classical album.. Or watching her in some Opera. I'm not a huge fan of My Winter Storm.

The impression I got from MWS is that Tarja was trying to do some metal a la Nightwish, but didn't really know how, so the result was kind of poppish metal like songs with operatic vocals. Now that she's gone solo, she should do opera... or gothic/ darker songs like Lost Northern Star. I actually thought this one sounded pretty good.

I didn't hear that one. My Little Phoenix is my favourite, although it reminded me of Nightwish a little too much.

Anyway, back on topic, I'm really loving the Wishmaster album the last few days, I can't stop playing it! \m/

Wishmaster is great! The album and the song.

Without any doubt - Oceanborn is their best album.
Though I enjoy all of their albums, and lately especially Dark Passion Play.
